Dr Wendy is a proud Sydneysider who holds both a Bachelor of Diagnostic Radiography and a Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Sydney. Before joining the Sensational Smiles Dental team, she spent several years in regional New South Wales. She has also contributed her time and skills to community initiatives such as the Australian Dental Association Red Cross Day, where she provided free dental care to asylum seekers in need.
Clinically, Dr Wendy believes in a conservative and preventative approach to dentistry, valuing the trust her patients place in her and ensuring their care is always grounded in integrity and evidence-based practice. She is passionate about continual learning and regularly undertakes advanced education to remain at the forefront of modern dentistry. Dr Wendy has completed a three-year Orthodontic Residency and Diploma, enhancing her ability to provide clear aligner and braces treatments. She also has a strong interest in CEREC same-day crowns and root canal therapy, offering her patients efficient and high-quality care using the latest technology.
With her gentle hands, warm smile, and calming nature, Dr Wendy is known for helping even the most anxious patients feel comfortable and cared for. Her nurturing approach, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence make her an integral part of the Sensational Smiles team.
Outside the clinic, Dr Wendy is an enthusiastic foodie and market explorer, who enjoys discovering local artisan finds. Dr Wendy loves working in the Sutherland shire because her patients have history within the Shire as their families stay here for generations. The Shire has a balance of everything – bush, water, city life but also country town feel. Dr Wendy can see why people who grow up in the Shire never want to leave!
