Before making the move to our Kirrawee based practice, Dr John studied his Doctor of Dental Medicine at the University of Sydney. John has experience treating patients of all walks of life. He has previously practiced at the Westmead Centre for Oral Health, Nepean Hospital and the Sydney Dental Hospital. During his time at University of Sydney he also enjoyed a placement in the rural NSW town of Ballina.
John loves building trust and fostering relationships with his patients. He is passionate about being able to truly understand what a patient wants from their treatment, assessing their motivation and working in harmony with them to achieve their dental goals.
Dr John is a talented dentist that has a keen interest in endodontics. In 2018, the Australian Society of endodontics awarded him the Anthony P Martin prize for Proficiency in Clinical Endodontics. He is also passionate about fixed prosthodontics (crowns, bridges, and veneers) and oral surgery.
Dr John is constantly seeking opportunities to increase his knowledge and improve his skills in the dental industry. He has previously observed maxillofacial surgeons and specialist endodontists. As a member of the ADA, John also regularly attends conferences and courses to keep up-to-date with the latest in the dental industry.
Away from the dental chair you’ll find John exploring Sydney’s national parks, on the pitch playing football, or searching for the perfect coffee. John co-founded a football club in Melbourne in 2013 and still helps the local team whenever he can.
